  This movie has a fuzzy dream like quality to it. Which is only empowered by the beautiful synth score. The scene where Howard and KG were just talking near the end is just a perfect sequence. The pulled The Departed at the end. So so so shocked!

  This movie has to sit with me for a while before I cherish it.
  I really wanted to talk about pacing and editing. I didn't feel any second of it, it felt went by, 3.5 hours just woosh!
  The score, before watching the movie I had it on repeat. Blumberg killed it what a score, from the Overture to the Venice Epilogue. Got to have a second watch before I can talk in depth, I want to but I'll hold my tongue there.

  Right out of the theater. The opening scene of the illustrations was a highlight for me. I love the Scott Free's art style for an intro and they continued it in the opening.

  The whole movie is solid, the naval fight at the start had the theater shanking and I am not kidding. The monkey scene had little problems with I guess composting the monkeys, their animation was great their models looked real but I guess the composting lacked a…
