Average r/radiohead user
Fun performance from Hugh Grant but the rest was incredibly half-baked. Juggling way too many different ideas that are left mostly unfulfilled. Dialogue was too reliant on lengthy scenes that amount to "ever heard of this fun little factoid?" And not much else.
"Bye sister" at the end was inspired though.
Gets a half star for the slow-mo phone drop and the Valentine's Day dinner scene. The rest was painful.

Feels like it was tailor made in a lab for me but also admittedly carried by its aesthetics and imagery (but carried like REALLY well). I enjoyed the supernatural devil aspect of it and how overt and simple it was but was also left wishing it had leaned a tad bit more into that realm a la Alan Wake. Arguably could've used some Sam Lake touch as well because I was left wanting a bit more character development from Harker but ultimately enjoyed her character and the movie overall.
