Saturday Night 2024
I love this movie so much.
At first, I didn’t care for it that much. It felt like they leaned too heavily into the chaotic/fast paced aspect, to the point where I couldn’t even remember the characters. But then, I basically just stopped trying to keep up and let the movie take over and by the end, I found myself genuinely rooting for them.
I love how the movie makes us care for all the characters in such an unconventional way.…

Alright, Sean Baker, you just prevented some more tears form falling with that ending, but dude, I wanted to know what would happen to Moonee. You can’t just finish the movie that way!
In a more serious note, I guess I fall in the category of people who did not like the ending (the last sequence with the kids running to Disneyland). From the movie length, I realized a bit before the end that we wouldn’t see the full process…
