surprisingly good for a bad horror movie, but bad for a good horror movie

went into this movie knowing next to nothing except that it was going viral. mistake. became so horrified by ~those scenes~ that by the final graveyard scene i barely batted an eye. of course. that’s saltburn.

honestly found the final plot twist a little lacking and predictable? the penultimate one was much more interesting. anyways as hannah aptly warned me this movie was not for me. it’s still got me feeling pretentious and wanting to read evelin waugh and shit. also, eyebrow piercings

On my third rewatch of (and third cry about) I finally decided this film earns a true five stars. Every single line is so intentional and every scene is packed with wit. The final montage will always make me proud of being a woman and of choosing life. Plus I got to watch this round with my boyfriend and he LOVED it!
