Honestly kind of disappointed by this film. Don’t tell me I ‘don’t get it’, because I do get it, and I’m allowed think critically.
Visually, it’s stunning, but the story felt stagnant and unoriginal. I get that it’s supposed to be a metaphor for innocence and the true underbelly of the world. I wish there had been some larger grand conspiracy than ‘Frank = evil’.
The characters being really 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 doesn’t mean this film is surrealist btw
