oh Mickey I’ve grown quite fond of you. This was such a trip to watch…genuinely insane. I need to sit with it for a while. Such a layered watch- the critiques on capitalism, imperialism and leadership were so poignant. It felt almost suffocating to exist in this world and the only breathe of air was Mickey and Nash’s. He comes off so human and vulnerable and watching him die is gruesome every-time.

And what if I said Denis needs to get back in the directors chair RIGHT NOW. I forgot movies could exist on a scale this- it is a testament to filmmaking as an art form. The world building is insane- arrakis comes alive visually and sonically. The way it manages to maintain intensity for over 2 hours is mind blowing. I literally have no words. (Only con is I did not see this in IMAX)
