Appalling. Haunting. Indescribably touching if you’re a human.

I knew this would be a tough watch but holy shit. Watching this in 2025 after almost a hundred thousand Palestinians are officially dead from the genocide… absolutely mortifying. IDF is so slight, so petty, yet the Palestinians remain so hopeful.
Knowing what happens years later makes their hope absolutely devastating. The whole time you wonder if any of those pictured are still alive. The Israelis don’t just want the Palestinian people…

I’d almost consider this an anti women movie considering how stupid and helpless they make Pamela out to be. She spends so much of the movie just spinning around the Vegas strip and pondering about nothing. Wasn’t really the movie that was sold to me at all. Some really pretty shots but everything is pretty devoid of meaning.

Absolute waste of time, truly pointless gore. The plot line for the first fucking 30 minutes is non existent. When it is finally introduced, it’s noncohesive garbage with bad acting performances. Half the movie is spent on Arts escapades that are completely unrelated to the main plot, which I guess involves like fantasy now? God, possibly my movie of the year. Most fun I’ve had in a theater in who knows how long, but also so many moments of pause. Moments where you think damn, I can’t believe this isn’t real life playing out in front of me. Sean baker creates slices of life that are so real, so grounded, but with the fast pace witty writing you expect from a good film. Idk this was really a one of a kind experience. Doesn’t matter if you see it in theaters, just fucking see it!! Mikey Madison forever!!!
