I think it did an excellent job of bringing the grandness you'd expect while seeing a live musical, while also taking advantage of the moments that can only be captured in movies. During the party scene when she dances with no music, and then we see that single tear come, is a perfect example of that. Moments like those matched with the massive choreographed songs like Popular, Defying Gravity, and What is this Feeling. I truly think they made something that pleases your hardcore musical lover, but can be equally enjoyable to those just wanting to see a good movie.

Gladiator II 2024
I really enjoyed it. It was always gonna have a hard time being compared to the first Gladiator, but I think it did a nice job of paying homage to the original, while still bringing a modernization to it. I can definitely see some people getting caught up on some details that were not quite historically accurate, but they personally didn't bother me.
