The writing in this film is strong, but some of it is thematically messy. The acting is incredible, even though there are times the movie seems unfulfilling. Each encounter Wanda experiences could be a larger movie in itself. The existential crisis is handled quite well. The movie benefits from the spontaneous and experimental sex Wanda has with a man and a woman. The plot development is at times weak, but there are extremely good moments.

Much of the film is wonderful in the way the old cartoons of Daffy Duck and Porky Pig are wonderful. I like the way Daffy and Porky get to be their classic selves - one disorderly, one the straight man. The best jokes in the film are Porky's feelings towards Petunia Pig. It has a strange 50's sci-fi plot and the humor is at times random and absurd, but a lot of it is hilarious.

I like the manner in which the two male protagonists are harmonious. This is a beautiful, poignant and relevant film.

This film takes a few chances like breaking the fourth wall to reveal the truth to the audience. There are subtle things that Margot Robbie does with the performance like when she eats cereal she holds her spoon like a neanderthal. The way she thins her lips in awkward scenes is well-done. I like the skating performance where she never knows what to do with her hands. What keeps the movie from being great is the inconsistent tone and the…
