NGL, Pearl was not scary at all. It felt so as maybe it could fall under triller but not horror. Yes obviously there was murder/homicide, but as a viewer I didn’t feel connected to the characters that died/nor feel sympathy toward their death. I wish they went deeper into developing her character and relationships between the main character and her parents.
