Monkey Man 2024
A fun and immersive experience. I left the theatre feeling good about this movie. The overall concept is solid and it’s pretty much a simple revenge thriller. However, I have comments about the cinematography and editing in the first half of the film. To me it felt jarring, I wish there was room to breathe and orient myself in the scenes but It gets better in the 2nd half. Maybe it was intentional, considering we’re really immersed into the POV…
