  A dull, dreary slog of a film. Snyder has clear contempt for Superman as a character. Either that or he's truly an amazing moron. He somehow manages to get every character wrong, down to their core, except maybe for Jor-El. There's not much more that can be said about it, since the movie has been discussed to death.

  A Million Ways to Die in the West 2014

  Easily the worst movie I've ever had the displeasure of seeing. The acting is atrocious, even from otherwise-solid performers like Liam Neeson and Charlize Theron. Seth MacFarlane is a self important piece of shit, and his character sucks too. You can tell he thinks every line he delivers is an act of pure hilarity. The only funny part is that, for a comedy, it's suspiciously devoid of anything resembling a joke. But haha, get it, Django Unchained showed up! Patrick Stewart voices a sheep with a big dick. Le mustaches are epic and manly! .5 stars is too generous

  A rare perfect film. Joel and Ethan's best. Perfectly encapsulates what it's like to be a suburban Jew in America. Even though it's a period piece, it's timeless. Plus, amazing sense of ratcheting up anxiety. Every Coen Brothers film seems to have that air of unease but, to me, this one hits different. Maybe because it's closer to home.
