  So much to love about Saripodhaa Sanivaram, but the enormous, exact restraint of this film’s writing takes the cake. Every detail is accounted for, every emotion is etched out with forensic precision and the film’s core philosophy is not only succinct, but also impeccably timed. With the abysmal state commercial Telugu cinema is currently in, what should ideally be the norm (good writing) has sadly become the exception.

  Early on in the film, Prakash tells Manu that he should look at life outside the prison as simply, life in a bigger prison. But everything Manu does in Side B, against Prakash's better judgement and wry disdain, has been to entrap himself in a much smaller prison...the prison of memories. 2.5 hours of love, beauty and madness later, we, the audience, become prisoners of the film's memories ❤️🌊. Sapta Sagaradaache Ello (Side A + B) forms a soaring elegy of emotions, hitting deep and crashing hard, long after the end credits roll.
