I’m not sure why I couldn’t rate it 5 stars… it was pretty perfect.
The gate scene right after the haircut showed such a panic in both their faces for the .2 seconds they were on screen and really I think that’s how they both felt the whole time.
Love and loss. Bleh. Hard. Inevitable.

Spent a lot of the movie trying to remember what flashback we kept referring to but it wasn’t a flashback.
Not a single problem was solved in 3 hours it feels like.

An interesting take on the desire for innocence and what people are willing to sacrifice to get there. Also just the power of fear.
I think Ivy is one of the coolest characters ever. I want to be her when I grow up vibes.

That quote really does describe this movie. It is a beautiful thing.
I’ve seen this movie so many times and just realized Sean Penn was in it.
Odd role for Ben Stiller but also makes so much sense.
“If I like a moment, I mean me, personally, I don’t like to have the distraction of the camera. So I stay in it.”
Simplicity in life to the full vibes. Just good and rich.
