I dig quite a lot of what’s going on in Maxxxine, and I think it’s a great finale to the odd little triad of films West and Goth have constructed. Each has its own style and tone while all feeling of one voice and that’s not easy to do.

I know there’s a cut with both volumes stitched together, but I kind of think I wouldn’t want that. Kill Bill Vol. 2 feels like a different movie than the first, and very much on purpose.
