Since I’ve decided to start a series of where I watch romance films I decided to rewatch this movie, one which I loved when I first watched years ago.
Now I know I’ve mentioned im not a big fan of romantic love stories in films… I don’t know what it is about this one, but it feels different. I wish I could explain how and why but I don’t have the words. I think it’s not necessarily the love story…

But anyways, an incredibly silly little goofy movie I enjoyed watching. I haven’t got much to say. Was stuck on what to rate this so I’m gonna go with the trusty 3.5. I get stuck when rating animated/kids films.
I was bored for the first 20 mins and didn’t have high expectations but hell yeah!
Divine G and Clarence have a beautiful relationship where they both grow and adapt to form a stronger bond throughout which is what hit me the most. In a place that’s supposed to be filled with criminals they found art & camaraderie. I loved Clarence’s character and his development throughout the film
I also read some reviews and the making of this film and background of it is interesting and heart-warming
Intro
I love when films enable you to relate to/see yourself in the characters easily. It creates something enjoyable, whether the film be a masterpiece or not. To analyse yourself and who you are as a person further than what you already know. Its like a guided analysis. This is why I also like fantastic mr fox but I haven’t fully analysed why I relate to the characters yet (ash + kristofferson).
