    Wasted potential. While this film is feel good, the comedy isn’t great. It does have its moments but the film should’ve have focused on purely Simon Pegg’s story rather than switching between his and Kate Beckinsale, as her whole book story was a waste of 10+ minutes. The cgi is awful but it does add to the charm so it’s not really a downside. After the film is over you will be thinking why didn’t he do more wacky and crazy things with his powers. Overall the film isn’t terrible, but certainly isn’t good.
