Slow but offered an interesting glimpse into life in the Deep South and how race relations and segregation have shaped community members lives in the past and present (at the time of the making of the documentary).
You know why this is my favorite tree? Cause it’s tipped over, and it’s still growing.
Kids really make the most of what they have despite growing while being “tipped over.”
It’s such a shame that childhood poverty exists in a country that commercializes its experience.
Loved the first act but I didn’t really like the second and third acts. Really liked the scene where Travis and Hunter walked back from school.
