  The through-line narrative was a bit flat for me, but there are some real gems in here, and definitely worth a good review. The Patient was particularly impressive. Makes me sad to see that the only thing some ppl had to say about that was that the ‘visual effects were bad’. Like that thing fricking gave me the heebh geebies, and it actually had an emotional pull that many horror films don’t prioritize

  It had a lot of promise, but was overall just an okay film by the end.
  Visually, it wasn’t particularly appealing. The lighting was off for many shots, casting more light on the background than on the actual characters. There wasn’t anything particularly interesting about the cinematography or VFX. 
  The acting was okay—I honestly think the actor who played the little girl gave the most convincing performance.
