Howl's Moving Castle 2004
Such a ridiculously comforting movie. A repeating comment on studio ghibli films but the landscapes make my heart so ridiculously happy, especially the valley. There’s something so awesome about the storytelling in ghibli films. I have a lot of time for the way they rely on urban legend to create a sense of familiarity and recognition but keep the actual story telling quite independent- it makes the world so incredibly easy to get caught up in.
