For me a 4 star movie is just a good solid film. Nothing extraordinary but still very enjoyable. A little slow but that allowed for a lot of fun world building.

One thing I love to see in movies (that Onward did extremely well) is to make use of every line of dialogue. Nothing that is said is a throwaway line. It all resurfaces in the climax.

I don't quite get why this movie was rated so poorly by so many people. Although, to be fair, the whole cosmic/celestial/divine beings going at each other appeals to me. I'll keep this review brief.

Great movie but remains just outside of the highest echelon of of film. Kept my attention well for 3 hours. Enjoyed how the mysterious undertone of the movie matched the Riddler as a villian. Didn't get too much playboy billionaire Bruce Wayne unfortunately. All the scenes at the iceberg lunge were very well done and every interaction at the entrance to the lounge was comedy gold. Good story between catwoman and batman which could have been leaned into and emphasized even more. Interesting twist st the end when Batman realizes that he need to change how he operates in certain respects.

Very solid and reltable story. Wholesome. Strong motifs run throughout. Film makes the viewer reflect upon similar experiences in one's past as shared in the movie. Fantastic highlight and dignification of traditional cultures and values.
