The Gorge 2025
This movie actually kept me guessing from start to finish. Even my wife, who pretty much predicts every outcome of a movie flawlessly, had no clue what to expect. A very well done thriller. Very unique story. Mikes teller has come a long way from Whiplash. Love his work.

Godzilla × Kong: The New Empire 2024
I really try to get into these Monsterverse films. They just feel so MCU though. There just always seems to be so much going on in the past couple films, specially the Godzilla vs Kong ones. The Hollow Earth addition just made everything so weird. However, I must admit, if it's a Godzilla movie, I'm probably going to watch. The nostalgia just hits me.

Sixteen Candles 1984
This was the one John Hughes great that I had not watched. The wife BEGGED me to watch it for years now. It was a classic for sure. Anthony Michael Hall was hilarious. Probably his best performance in these films, in my opinion. Great soundtrack too. I was surprised by the inappropriateness of it though, caution when viewing for sure. Not too bad though!
