  Awful animation where the characters barely move, the lips are not synced to the audio, and the quality is on par with early 2000s 3D animation attempts. Nearly no plot occurs and the whole movie is just a set up for a (equally subpar) sequel.

  why do people like this movie, it's weird, sexual (in a bad way), made no sense even from a metaphorical perspective, uncomfortable for every second of the movie, and has zero build up/is just slow the entire time. Would rather watch paint dry, would give negative stars if possible.

  Virtually no buildup during the entire movie with only a handful of suspenseful scenes. Honestly would have been scarier if the doll had moved while on screen. The purpose of some of the characters had more potential than what was executed.
