Very much enjoyed this (abridged) adaptation, Pasolini took many many many creative licenses, but his justification for them at the end of the film was very compelling for what he wanted to convey. He said that his two biggest decisions for the film were (1) it'd all be set on Ithica (shot on Corfu), and (2) there would be no gods. I have many things I could say about this film, but overall I think it's quite a successful character study. Especially with his treatment of Telemachus
