Certainly not a horror film, but a movie that you'll watch once and be terrified to view again. A classic premise of revenge and romance for both the protagonist and his villain. Its dark, witty, and most certainly tragic.

Before Into the Spider-verse, there was The Lego Movie. The style of animation associated with the "Spider-verse" films was actually pioneered in this movie four years before and led to the modern revolution of Western animation. But beyond the technical aspects, the movie is much more than a corporate cash grab. The movie is hard to describe. While meta, it's also camp and carries a charming appeal. It's entertaining, it's humorous, and it brings you a sense of childlike wonder and amusement that's also central to the movie's themes.
