    I wanted to do this review in portuguese but i don’t think i’m quite there. Regardless, this was a fantastic film and frankly just so fun to look at. It’s easy to forget that the Brazil of 2025 is very different than the nation of the past. This is a necessary reminder of the need for democracy and political freedom, especially as the left is continuing to be seen as increasingly subversive on the global scale. The pain and emotion is palpable. Eunice Paiva, you are a testament to the enduring human spirit. Highly recommend
