This is truly one of the best films I have ever seen. The acting is unmatched, and the writing is incredible. Dora is a complex, deeply human character, brought to life with remarkable nuance. The range of emotions I experienced and the depth of cultural insight woven into the film were nothing short of fantastic.

I'm Still Here 2024
I wanted to do this review in portuguese but i don’t think i’m quite there. Regardless, this was a fantastic film and frankly just so fun to look at. It’s easy to forget that the Brazil of 2025 is very different than the nation of the past. This is a necessary reminder of the need for democracy and political freedom, especially as the left is continuing to be seen as increasingly subversive on the global scale. The pain and emotion is palpable. Eunice Paiva, you are a testament to the enduring human spirit. Highly recommend
