Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai

Crime thriller with comedic elements woven into it. Forest Whitaker is a hitman with blind loyalty to a mob boss who saved his life when he was younger. When a hit doesn't go as planned, the hunter then becomes the hunted.

The movie had an interesting ending.

Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai

The movie was quirky to say the least, and was not dull in any way.

This was the first time I had seen this particular movie, and it is one that I could see again.

    Before Sunrise

Two attractive, likeable strangers meet and talk and talk and walk and talk and really listen to each other. They carry backpacks but no other baggage. Nothing much more happens except they become even more likeable and believably fall in love.

    The Incredible Shrinking Man

Through no fault of his own, an ordinary man must come to terms with a future of unknown terrors, loneliness, and maybe his biggest concern, a loss of masculinity. (His wife doesn't help by moving him into a dollhouse downstairs from their bedroom.) But as he diminishes in size, his mind adapts, and he grows fearless of what is to come.

To me, his final monologue seemed aligned with a number of Eastern religious beliefs. In Buddhism, the end of suffering is the ultimate goal.
As he prepares to leave earth "to become... What?", his suffering has already ended.
