  i expected the story to be a newer and very different version from the original dracula / nosferatu story so i was a little disappointed at first since i knew the plot already. but the amazing cinematography, costumes and dialogue made up for it. i have watched plenty of newer gothic films and even though they were great they never captured this perfect feeling 80s or 90s gothic movies gave me. this one was able to do so. amazing! i'm also incredibly attracted to lily rose depp now, thanks

  never has a movie fascinated me like this. when i started watching it all i expected was a disgusting eroguro movie with much gore and no plot. i was left speechless. i watch so many movies i consider to be "weird" or "confusing" and i pride myself a little on being able to interpret them so well. but ive rarely seen a movie that left me with this many questions. which is super impressive. i also didnt expect this to be an obscure feminist wlw movie. loved that. i will now read every analyis i can find on this.

  so ein wichtiger film um faschismus besser zu verstehen. ich bin froh, dass dieses buch an vielen schulen pflichtlektüre ist. in mir selber hat das buch damals sehr großes politisches interesse ausgelöst. jeder sollte wenigstens den film einmal geschaut haben.
