  My memories of this movie are mainly watching it on a folded down futon with my brother when we were both still in middle school. We had plastic bead curtains and took all of this literally. We absolutely had an inflatable chair, Claire’s really had a hold on the retro revival 😃🌼👽✌️☮️

  It’s the next day and I find myself thinking again of how….cute? Mickey 17 was? Like, I did not expect to be blushing during a BJH movie but it was so sweet 🥹  I will always be here for Robert Pattinson’s weird voices and incredible physicality. I had a fun time at the movies!

  This movie scared me so much as a child! And I can see why in the opening shots! the wailing in the mansion, the way it makes fear and the unknown so overwhelming just like how it felt to be young. There are walls you crash into endlessly with how little adults will allow you to know, at each you squirm and scratch and try to find a way past, a way through, towards a place of knowing and agency.…
