  A grim nightmare about the unravelling of the soul, served with a Dostoyevskian dark, surreal and experimental atmosphere.

  It felt like the kind of descent into madness that Raskolnikov experienced in Crime and Punishment, after he killed the old lady.

  Leave it to the East-Europeans to make some dark drama's...

  Don't expect a bunch of jump-scares in this movie, but rather a simmering feeling of unease, silence and loneliness.
  There's long and dark corridors, suspicious and nasty glances from colleagues, dark woods, quietly closing doors and folklore.
  There's a constant feeling that something terrible will happen, but... patience! If you're in a hurry, then this is not your movie.

  At the end, many questions remained, but that did not bother me at all.

  Well, it's been a while since I've heard such honest conversations in a movie. That guy can write a line or two!
  He can also mess with your head. He can make you feel smart: "Oh, that's why he's going nuts. Oh, I understand... I've seen that before!"
  Yeah, right.

  Anyway, best Karaoke scene ever!
