Best movie that I watched in 2024. Second best is Our Friend. Every second feels like you don’t know if you are going to live or die. This death story honors everyone in such a honorable way. Made my parents watch it on Thanksgiving night since I’m the only daughter at home that can give suggestions. We all cried. Many tears. Then hugged. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

The Family Stone 2005
This is the most under rated Christmas movie of all time. This is what every Christmas feels like to be home- drama, whispering behind people’s back, the past coming back to haunt you, the annoying significant other, the yelling, the politics, the kicking the single sister out of her own bed for the girlfriend nobody likes, and if you are lucky snow. It’s tense, funny, surprising, and makes you want to forgive (and give all the type A’s in your family an edible). Hell if you are looking for a chickfick and it’s not winter, this movie will still hit. 10/10 cast.
