Such a weird movie. Terrible screenplay. There’s almost no action for the first hour of this 90 minute movie. But when there finally are fights they’re actually good. Daisy Ridley is great! Which isn’t a surprise. If love to see her in another action movie with a better script.

I bet this movie is more effective for people who aren’t super familiar with Garland’s work. Someone like me who loves Garland comes in with certain expectations that this movie will have a lot of interesting things to say like Ex Machina.
