Dark, depressing, real
Words for both this film and the tragedies in which it’s based on. No one can fully comprehend the torture and trauma inflicted upon those during The Troubles, yet Elephant shows the true nature of death and violence, it’s not martyrdom, it’s not glory, it’s abrupt and unnecessary suffering. Spider-man 2 is my favourite movie.
Okay hear me out!…. Exactly, you realise to that this movie isn’t a marvel movie, a sony movie, a spider-man movie or even a superhero movie. It’s an understatement to say this movie is near perfect, Raimi is a master of his craft and his evolution up until this point was seemless. An amazing film which I know too little to try and explain about what makes it so perfect.
