Burn After Reading 2008
Rarely does is an ensamble movie less than two hours long, but somehow they managed to squeeze this beauty into 90mins. If you check your phone at any point in those 90 mins, you'll likely miss an important reveal or piece of exposition, but still nothing feels rushed. You'd be a grade-A mystic if you could predict the story trajectory. Some of the best visual comedy and comedy writing I've ever seen. Full of incredibly flawed characters that are mostly un-relatable but still easy to understand. The scene where Chad breaks into the Cox residence is unforgettable, shocking and hilarious. Absolutely my favourite by the Coens.
