  A cute rom com. I could really resonate with Matthew McConaughey’s character given his suave and charming demeanor - of which I also happen to possess.  But was the female’s character really trying to get rid of him?.. because that shit would not have worked on me 🤣 my ass would’ve been falling even harder lowkey.   Probably one of the few classic movies that I haven’t yet seen (until now). Maybe I’m just stupid but I had trouble following this. Lots of characters and not easy to keep track of who is backstabbing who. It’s a little bit long for my liking, but if it was any shorter it would be even more confusing. I watched a few YouTube videos explaining it which made me understand it and like it more, but I feel like I shouldn’t need to watch explanations to understand the plot of a movie
