Insanely important, essential viewing and very well made. I love that media is starting to portray these kinds of modern issues in a realistic manner that really feels so disturbing because it’s so real, not some bullshit Hollywood fake story. The way that the themes are portrayed are so raw and made me feel so uncomfortable and emotional because this is SO authentic, genuine and almost relatable (in some senses) because of how understandable the miniseries was. I’m actually quite shaken and scarred by this.

A Clockwork Orange 1971
Decided to rewatch cause I just read the book. I like Kubrick’s vision here, his production design , soundtrack, costumes and cinematography are all fabulous and capture this terrible dystopian world real “horrorshow” (good). Don’t like how he used the American ending and should’ve done the UK/original(?) ending instead. I *liked* it but I’m just kinda disappointed.

The Brutalist 2024
My god. This film will go down in history. Words do it no justice, all I can say is that this was an absolute cinematic masterpiece.
