  Poor Bob. I feel for him. 
  With that said this is an incredible sequel. Recently we’ve seen a rash of movies start to find the blend of nostalgia and new story to keep them appealing and Beetlejuice doesn’t disappoint. Great film.

  Winona Ryder was superb, Jenna Ortega was cast well, Catherine O’Hara was great and Keaton - while he didn’t really have to carry the movie - was exactly as I had hoped.  I also loved the blend of new CGI and old style effects.

  Brilliant. Hilarious. Damn near perfect. 
  This movie was so chock full of nostalgia it oozed out like an 80s push pop. It has been a long time since I laughed harder at a movie and saw such perfect 4th wall use (move over Zack Morris). I’d give 6 stars if I could. I can’t believe some MFers are still trying to ice skate uphill.

  As someone who is fairly familiar with this story (the Sole Man 30 for 30 is great) I genuinely like what they did with it. No one in this story is without flaws with the possible exception of the parents.   Seven (sorry, let’s go all 90s with it - Se7en) is good in many ways but lacking in a few. First and foremost, the unnamed city in which Somerset and Mills work is the most stereotypical movie city I’ve seen. It rains every day (seriously, it does) and the police officers are a mock up of every generic force ever portrayed in film.
