Could not have seen this with a better and more engaged crowd! They laughed full-bellied at most of the gags, they clapped, they cheered, they hoorahed. All animation nerds and a single child in the front row.
To me, the first 10 minutes were hilarious and unhinged, and it lost some creative steam with less inspired jokes and gags than that first impression (the crowd was quieter here too), and then picked up well and good to the finale. I…
