I'd need to see it again, but the more I think about it, I think this film is meant to be a slap in the face to everyone who praises and idolizes the first film and who thinks Arthur is ( insert x, y, or z reason) relatable.

What the absolute fuck. This film just hurts on so many levels. I think anyone who gives either Adam Driver or Scarlett Johansson shit for their acting is this film is crazy. The scene between the two of them that is now famous is very real and very well acted. It's something I wish for no one to go through or to have a child witness.
