This movie is a bit like a married couple’s sex life - It starts off great but by the end your lifeless body sits there wondering when it’s going to be over.

I’d like to think those strange 2D cgi dark figures at the end of the movie took Carl to a place where he must rewatch the Gnomeo and Juliet for the rest of time. The level of cgi they managed to get away with in 1990 is truly remarkable.
