Dark, mysterious, and ambiguous, Eastwood created one of the most surreal and disturbing westerns I’ve ever seen. The shot composition matches the stark tone of the film perfectly along with the off putting score. Throughout the film we not only learn about how corrupt our “protagonist” is but the dark truth that this whole town is corrupt. Not only one of the best westerns I’ve seen but one of the best films of all time.
Frank Zappa is not only one of my favorite musicians but favorite people ever and a big inspiration to me.
While this documentary is not groundbreaking in anyway it gives you a beautiful glimpse into a the mans life. While I wish it went more in depth into his music and making of his albums in the seventies as much as it did with the 60s mother’s era and 80s-90s, the documentary would have probably been almost three hours so it…
Kids is not meant to be timeless. It is meant to capture the place and culture of it’s time and it does that perfectly. I cannot tell you the last time a film has affected me so much.
