Actually, I loved it. It resonated with me — it's deep, bold, and vibrant. Some of the music might be a bit silly, but it suits the story perfectly, and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. It touched me. I believe that’s what cinema is meant to do.
I do understand why people might be offended by it or why it could be laughable for them. But I don't see it that way. I see those stereotypes/silly songs as an intention or just a fantasy surrounding the very real and painful story of transition and a person tryign to cope with it.
