  Just so insane beyond words. Spent the whole time just admiring the costume design and fashion. Conceptually transcended all my expectations and did it in such a beautiful artistic way. The influences in arabic fashion and traditions is very prevalent but this is how you culture vulture if you must. Cast is insane they just gathered every at one point indie A24 actor and threw them all together it worked phenomenally. The giedi prime battle scene was definitely my favorite scene, just shot in such a thematically raw way. Genuinely can not wait for the next part!!

  Alam represents so much to me and I left this screening truly thinking alot about alot of things. My ramblings are unnecessary but i couldn’t help but think of how dreamily this was filmed. The lushness in the color scheme paint such a vivid image of adolescence and was one of the first “romanticised” Palestinian films I’ve watched.
