Really slow start but when the movie picks up it doesn't stop. Once Ben and Barbara had gotten into the house the movie started to bore me, but once Harry and Tom are found in the cellar the movie really picks up, and the final act is a spectacle, especially by 1968's standards, and especially on such a low budget. What do I have to say other than the fact that the film both underperformed and outdid my expectations. I was so unbelievably excited when I first heard about this film, I couldn't wait any longer for it, I waited, and I waited and then the first trailer dropped. Worth a watch for sure.

Directed by Satoru Ogura and released in 1985, this infamous Japanese film stands out for its raw, unapologetic portrayal of torture and sadism.

The plot, though minimalistic, revolves around a group of individuals subjecting a young woman to horrific experiments. What unfolds is a descent into depravity, as each scene becomes increasingly brutal and disturbing. By the end of this film, it's showing things that I've never seen before.

From a technical standpoint, "Guinea Pig: The Devil's Experiment" employs a…
