Woke up to a notification my girlfriend added this to our watchlist at 2am. I originally watched this on my iPad on release so we kinda lost it when we realized the entire film was going to be in 4:3. The kinda movie you have to hit the pen for but then the real challenge ends up being finishing it in one sitting.

Watched with ads on HBO and the hard cuts to a commercial really drove home how Snyder still films and color grades his movies like an advertisement because it would take me a couple seconds to realize I wasn’t watching the film. I love that Snyder will recreate a comic panel and do nothing with it, pure fan service. Mark Zuckerberg Lex Luther is so funny.

went in blind and really enjoyed it. contains some incredible chase scenes. my biggest critique is i wish the first few transmissions were done off screen with just sound effects so suspense could of been built up around what was happening. when seattle was mentioned everyone cheered. jake the dog did a great job, he should of had more screen time. mr maclachlan was there which was very cool and they gave us a brat inspired “movie” sticker afterwards lol.
