Uhm shit. It’s a remake of a 1970s classic so yes it is going to be bad but good god was this movie awful. Very very heavy on the whole “iPhone addicted vegan diet new generation” thing most movies tend to be doing lately. Mostly just not creative with the kills or the plot. It was very “well here’s like two bits of plot and now here’s some blood lol.” But still they couldn’t get the kills right. The only one I audibly ewwww-ed at was when he skinned his mother I think. Loved this movie so much. I wish I could watch it for the first time again. It is beautifully done and builds suspense, fear and confusion so perfectly to create the ultimate feeling to hook a watcher in for good. One of my favourite movies hands down.
