  Okay so I’ve been hearing a lot of negative opinions about this movie... that it is depicting a toxic relationship, that it is “glorifying” one of the most difficult parts of a queer person’s life, that we don’t have enough LGBTQ content so it needs to be better... I think this true BUT I think the rush to shun this movie is part of the unfair habit of holding every piece of LGBTQ media as the end all be all…

  A slow and introspective movie, which normally I don’t like but I really loved this one. Andrew Scott is incredible and perfect for the role. Many of my friends didn’t like this one. I think because not much happened but I thought the discoveries it made were gorgeous. This will be one of my favorites of the year
