early emotional wine-drunk reaction but i really really loved it and i felt revived and full of love of life when i left the cinema. beautifully structured with one centrepiece sequence of looks and gestures, on which the rest of the film stacks layers of meaning and emotion to the absolute limit. sex, tennis, sweet sweet techno
special film: three incredible performances, three brilliant characters, warm grainy film and warm grainy seventies soundtrack. also so so funny
at first i really wanted the film to end at new years, and not to show the end of the holiday, but the goodbye was worth it.
lines which stayed: you can't even dream a whole dream can you, where do you stand on indoor fireworks? - as far away as possible, keep your head up - you can do this
can't wait to watch it next christmas
very funny to hear a khurangbin song im not sure why
