    Kneecap (2024) is loud, wild, and full of energy. I don’t know much about Irish culture, but the music pulled me in it’s raw and addictive. The story has a rough, bold feel with humor and attitude, making it a fun and memorable watch.

    Mamiya is my favorite antagonist in any film I've seen recently. He's very menacing despite not being a physically imposing guy. The scenes where he's (seemingly) wandering around in a daze asking the same questions over and over puts you ill at ease even before you figure out what his deal is. It makes you feel unsafe, especially whenever there's a shot of him looking into the camera.
