I had a day off yesterday due to a holiday, and after cooking myself a meal, I regrettably decided to watch something that I thought might be mildly entertaining.
This might have been the worst assembly of scenes accompanied by audio that I've ever experienced.

Watching Dune Part One for the first time was overwhelming;
Not because of the qualities of the movie (although I can't deny that it also holds true for some of the visuals in a quite literal way, even more-so the IMAX version of it), but because I went into it with a lot of expectations and baggage:

I saw this movie for the third time last night... there's so many details to pick up on repeat screenings, it's incredible.
All I'll add to my initial review is that I'm starting to think this might be my favorite movie of all time (the bias of me being a fan of Frank Herbert's novels obviously plays into that) and definitely my favorite cinematic experience so far.
